Enable Hiiden Folder in Windows XP

Follow the below instructions to "Enable the Hidden Folder in Windows XP"

1. Go to Start ==> Run ==> type regedit and then press enter
2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL

Double click on CheckedValue being shown on the right hand side of the page.
Just change the value of 'Value Data' from 0 to 1 .

A virus must have altered it to 0.

Now u will be able to see the hideen files will show on enabling the folder options.

SECOND TRICK
1. Go to Start ==> Run ==> type gpedit.msc and then press enter
2.
Then go to User Configuration ->Administrative Templates --> Windows Components --> Windows Explorer-> Removes the Folder Options menu item from the Tools menu.

Right click:-> Properties -> Disable ->Apply -> Again set it to not configured
